Possible Recipe Exchange

My husband is wanting to play around with a new program language (he’s a software engineer). He is planning on creating a free recipe exchange site to learn how to use this new language. He thought this would be a good marriage of our two tallents–his computer skills coupled with my cooking skills.

If you’d be interested in having your recipe placed on our site, leave it as a comment to this post. For the time being, I’ll just leave all of the recipes as comments to this post so visitors can view them. When the recipe site is up and running, I’ll place a link to it on this blog.

Thanks in advance for any recipes I get.

  1. Mom says:

    Mushroom Chicken

4 boneless, skinless chicken breast (make 8 if you want to double up on dinners for the week and make the leftovers a casserole tomorrow night)

One can cream of mushroom chicken

    One jar of mushrooms, drained.

    Parsley

    ——

Put chicken in a baking dish.
Pour soup over chicken and 1/2 can of water.
    Pour mushrooms over chicken.
Add parsley sprinkled over the top if you like.
Salt and pepper if you like.

Cook at 350 until chicken is cooked through, about an hour.

Be sure to turn chicken after 30 minutes to avoid over drying.

For tomorrow’s casserole, cut up leftover chicken into bite size pieces. Keep all the soup juices in the baking dish and the chicken pieces. Add one can of whole kernel corn, drained. Add one can of sweet peas, drained. Add more soup if needed. Mix it all up.

Make a box of stove top stuffing according to package directions and spread over the top of the casserole mixture.

Bake at 350 until heated through and stuffing is browned.
